Throw out those New Year's resolutions
Hello my friend:
And hello 2007.
So many people at the beginning of every year feel that they
should resolve to make some type of behavioral changes in their
lives. But what those New Year's resolutions do, most often, is
nothing more than teach people, that once again, they can't stay
motivated to change anything significant in their lives and that
they are completely incapable of making the changes they said
they resolved to make.
Hence I am no fan of New Year's resolutions.
Instead, I personally prefer to resolve every single day that
today is going to be the day that I manage my emotions to make
correct and reasonable decisions.
I prefer to resolve every single day that I will take the
actions that will help me reach more important goals and make my
biggest dreams come true. I prefer to resolve every single day
that I will do the things to help me become I want to become.
I say become because there is no standing still. There is no
staying the same. Either you're growing or you’re shrinking.
You can't stay the same.
Daily resolutions are thousands of times better than yearly
ones. To grow every day. To enjoy your moments, no matter what
you are doing. That is the kind of resolve you need to have a
great life, no matter who you are, no matter where you live.
Even if you are in a wheelchair... Even if you can't speak...
Even if you have damage to your brain. You can still live a
distinguished life, a successful life and a happy life.
In 2007, we are releasing many new personal development
programs that each individually has the power to give you real
control over your mind and actions.
Just what is personal development?
To me, part of the definition of personal development, personal
growth, self-help or whatever you want to call it is the ability
to feel how you want to feel, whether it be motivated,
confident, content, grateful, happy, competent or any of the
hundreds of other emotions that drive our actions.
Emotional control is important because it is your emotions that
drive your actions. Nothing else. Because if we don't feel
like doing something even if that thing would make a huge
difference in our life, we won't do it.
Other important aspects of personal development are honesty,
character, high standards and loyalty among many others.
Even more aspects of personal development and personal growth,
in addition to having the emotions that help drive successful
actions, are the need to feel happy and fulfilled in the lives
we’ve chosen -- in our careers, in our relationships, in our
free time, really in everything we do.
That is why Think Right Now accelerated thought and behavior
modification programs
- http://www.thinkrightnow.com
are so effective and so popular all over the world because they
directly affect your thoughts and emotions (the 22 core mental
patterns), which, in turn, directly alter the nature and quality
of your actions, which again directly affect your thoughts and
emotions.
It's an amazing circle that just grows and grows as you
continue to positively condition your thoughts to be similar to
the people who are the way you want to be, who have what you
want to have and to do what you want to do.
Well that's all for now. I'll be talking to you very soon.
I love you all,
Mike Brescia
