What 'Jungle Girl' forgot that teaches us everything
Hello my friend:
For everyone who's been living in a jungle for the last couple
weeks a big story has recently come out of Cambodia.
It seems that an eight year old girl who disappeared 18 years
ago has resurfaced. Although her identity is not been 100%
verified, what is certain is that this jungle girl has not lived
in society for many, many years. When she was discovered, her
skin was blackened with dirt, her hair had grown down to her
knees and most notably, she doesn't have the ability to speak.
Well, I take that back.
Actually, she does know four words. Those words are mother,
father and stomach ache.
What this proves is that even though she had eight years of
living in a society, and communicating as any other eight year
old would in that part of the world, after being removed from it
and living for years in an environment where language wasn't
necessary she actually forgot all the words she ever knew.
The meaning of this is profound...
It shows that if you don't practice something constantly, no
matter how good you are at, you can lose the ability to do it all.
Sadly so many people, because of their mistakes or failures or
because of what other people think and say, have lost the
ability to motivate themselves. They've literally lost the
ability to be confident in so many areas of their lives.
School doesn't condition us for success in life. Our parents,
most of the time, can't teach us how to be effective in work,
sports, health, social settings if they don't know themselves.
Our colleges and professors can't do it. So we're all left with
these brains that have untold capabilities but with no owner’s
manual.
Think Right Now programs
- http://www.thinkrightnow.com
and Instant Inner Power programs
- http://www.instantinnerpower.com ARE those owner’s manuals.
All you need to do is listen to them, and, in the case of Think
Right Now audio programs, take 15 or 20 of the statements and
read them a few times a day. If you do that you will be
rehearsing the self talk and the inner thoughts and beliefs of
the most effective, successful, happiest people who ever lived
and whoever will live.
Why do I say that?
Here's just one more reason:
===========
Dear Mike,
My house was a disaster, my life was a disaster! I couldn't
seem to keep on top of anything as a sole parent, after a nasty
divorce and some pretty serious health issues.
I have been receiving your emails for a long time, and finally
one day decided to try the Organizing tape....anything to get
out of the chaos I was in. I received the 'I am Organized Now'
audio tape and started listening to it. Initially I thought, 'well how
is this going to help?' 'I know all that!' 'That's obvious!'
But I kept on listening to it, generally as I was going to sleep
at night. I was surprised to find that little by little, my
house was getting tidier. Instead of feeling 'oh why bother' I
would hear the words from the tape running in my head. I WAS a
person who tidied up after myself, who took pride in my home,
who COULD manage.
I just needed to believe that and then my actions seemed to
naturally follow. Seeing the results spurred me on even more
and now I've turned the corner, not only is my house under
control, I am organized enough to be back at work. Some might
say it was because I was so ready to change, but I have been
'ready' for a long time, this audio tape was just the kick start
I needed.
Thank you!

==========
MB: You see, you can know how to speak or to do anything else
for that matter, but if you don't practice doing something
regularly, you lose your ability to do it. Julie knew that
everything on that audio program was correct and that it was the
way that she should live and should be, but her habit was to not
live that way, and to not make the daily and hourly decisions
that kept her life in order. It wasn't until she started to use
a system that helped her internalized the actual unconscious
thought processes of the most effective people alive that she
herself became organized.
Our thought processes are just like muscles. If we use them
and put strain on them they will become stronger through habit.
But if we don't use them, as exhibited by the jungle girl, we
lose the ability to use them at all... even if that ability is
to simply speak.
I love you all,
Mike
