Mario Andretti behind the wheel
Hello my friend:
Wow. This is amazing... less than a half-hour since my
newsletter on eliminating worry from your life started hitting
inboxes, we started getting requests for more success stories on

Since the last bunch was put up there in May, 2006, we've gotten
kind of slack about adding more. We've got plenty more, like
this one that came in recently...
What most people really want to know is that they're not alone
in how they feel. Life can be brutally hard. And like I said
earlier today, our brains didn't come with any kind of a manual.
And worse, the people teaching us throughout our lives didn't get
one either.
So here you go...

Dear Mike,
One day I was having an interview with an acquaintance and I
had a panic attack. I couldn't breath very well, I felt dizzy
and I couldn't think very clearly. My gentleman acquaintance
asked me if I had panic attacks very often and I answered him
'no'.
My anxiety was more of a deep constant anxiety. It would
become worse if I drove on the freeway in heavy traffic, if I
spoke in public, or if I traveled very far from home. This
gentleman recommended your 'Dissolving Panic & Anxiety Now' CD
So I began listening to this marvelous CD. I would listen with
headphones at night as I was going to sleep. I would just put
the cd player on repeat. I love the relaxation part and it
helps me go to sleep quickly and soundly. After two nights I
began to feel different. I began to feel less afraid. I began
to feel less anxious. One great change I noticed was that I had
to give an oral presentation at school and I had just a tiny bit
of anxiety at the very beginning and that quickly went away. If
you knew me you would know that this is quite a dramatic change.
I felt calm and at ease in front of the class. I could smile
and interact with the class. WOW!
The most miraculous change was after about three weeks of
listening, I drove over 5 hours to Las Vegas. I picked up my
husband from the airport and we stayed the weekend. I had no
anxiety! This is amazing. I drove in traffic--no anxiety! I
drove on roads I was not familiar with--no anxiety! I was far
from home-no anxiety! Maybe you should rename your CD to
Freedom From Panic and Anxiety because that is how I feel....
free! This cd has helped my self-confidence. It is wonderful!
I have listened to the cd for about five weeks now and will
continue for a few more to really solidify things for me. I am
so thankful. You are doing great things!

Mike: That's awesome! And as happy as I am to hear about this
wonderful turn around, I do need to comment about what Francie
said about listening for a few more weeks to really 'solidify
things.'
I don't know how 'young' she is, but based on her style of
writing/speaking, I'm going to guess at least 30's or 40's...
maybe more. After all those years being conditioned by life to
the point where there was a constant deep anxiety, and possibly
occasional panic attacks, this didn't crop up overnight or even
in the last few years. It's a lifelong pattern brought on by
untold thousands of different events, circumstances, decisions
and situations.
To change deep patterns of thought and belief, it's critical
that the events and outcomes you get in life change their
meaning to you, not just logically but on a deep emotional
level. And that can't happen with a snap of a finger.
So, the only caution I have for anyone reading this is that if
you go from really down to feeling great in a short period of
time using Dissolving Panic and Anxiety, don't be tempted to put
it on the shelf and forget about it. I don't care what the '21
Days to Change a Habit' people say. Lifelong patterns can take
a whole lot longer than a few weeks to get to the root of, no
matter how quickly you started to feel better.
Experts in the fitness industry would be run out on a rail if
they ever told people that they could work out for three weeks
or two months and would be fit forever.
Make sense?
