Playing guitar
Hello my friend:
Last week, I was listening to my eight-year-old son, Mickey,
practice his guitar. What he was doing during this particular
practice session was playing one song and then playing a
different one and then playing another one in rapid fire
sequence.
Well, these songs were relatively new to him, so he was making
all kinds of mistakes. They barely sounded like songs that all
with all the stopping and starting. And he was getting a little
frustrated. So, at that point I had to interject and direct him
to play just one of those songs... over and over and over. What
happened? At the end of 30 minutes he was playing that song
like a virtuoso.
After hearing him play so well after only playing a brand-new
song for 30 minutes, I asked him what he thought of just
practicing one song instead of five all at one time.
He said to me, 'It really works, Dad. I learned this song
faster than any other song I know. I thought I was learning
more by playing more songs. But it's a lot slower. I'm going
to do it this way all the time now.'
I was so proud. At eight years old he was learning one of the
most critical life lessons... a lesson that most people in their
70s still don't know... or at least don't live by.
This is what every Think Right Now program
- http://www.thinkrightnow.com is designed to do, to shorten
the time it takes for you to learn the automatic, 'no need to
stop and think about it any more' beliefs, attitudes and actions
of the most successful people.
The goal in all areas of life is to be able to make the right
decisions and take the right actions naturally, without even
having to think or strain. The goal is to have the answers come
to you effortlessly and automatically. In every part of your
life when the answers come automatically, almost instantly
you'll feel like your IQ went up 20 points.
That's what mental success conditioning will do for you...
It will make you an 'unconscious competent.' Unconscious
competence is when you can effortlessly do what you need to do
without even having to think about it anymore.
Remember what it was like when you drove a car for the first
time?
There are hundreds of things you must do and remember all at
the same time.
You need to closely watch the cars in front of you, the ones
coming from all sides and the cars behind you. You must watch
all those mirrors, and look all around you. You steer, press the
gas, the break, the clutch. Change lanes, use your signal light,
watch your speed.
Highway statistics in every country show that an incredibly
high percentage of automobile accidents are caused by people
under 21 years old... people who have been driving for five
years or less. These statistics still hold up even when there
is not alcohol involved.
Why is this?
Because driving is a complex series of tasks. And it takes
longer than five years to get proficient at it.
Every single area of your life is like this...
Regardless of the thoughts and actions required, to get good at
anything takes time. The less time you spend doing a thing, the
longer it's going to take to get good at it.
Is this rocket science?
No, it's just common sense, isn't that true?
And since it IS common sense, it makes absolutely zero sense to
think that you can become totally proficient at any critically
important life skill, and do it quickly unless you immerse
yourself in the thoughts beliefs and attitudes of the people who
are the best at what you want to learn.
Because before every action comes a thought.
So if you have goals and dreams in life, and you want to
achieve them as quickly as possible, Think Right Now audio
programs
- http://www.thinkrightnow.com with their triple repetition of
all the re-patterning statements, with their 60 beat per minute

dreams come true and keep them once you have them.
And isn't that what you really want?
If that is true, get over to http://www.thinkrightnow.com NOW.

The Chinese have a proverb that says the longest journey begins
with the first step. There is no truer truth.
Here's another bit of wisdom that comes from the world of
baseball... You can't get home until you touch all the bases.
So take the first step and touch all your bases. And get over
to
- http://www.thinkrightnow.com NOW, get what you need and use
them like it matters. Because it does.
