Become immune to negative people and situations
Hello my friend:
If you live in the United States, you probably know that our
winter in the Northeast was more like Spring right up until
February 14th. That's the day that winter hit, and hit hard.
Just 45 minutes north of here, they got nailed with over 100
inches of snow in less than a week.
Well, this morning I asked my wife Sherry what the temperature
was outside. She looked online and said 3° below zero. Shiver
me timbers!
About 10 minutes later, as we were chatting in the living room,
out of the blue she said, 'Spring is here! I can feel it!'
'Spring?' I said, 'It's 3° below zero!'
She said, 'I know, but when I got up, the birds were singing
outside.'
I said jokingly, 'They're just trying to stay warm! They have
to keep moving somehow. Their singing is like us chattering our
teeth. It helps keep them warm!'
So she said, 'Yes, but this morning the cats were chasing each
other around. I think they have Spring fever.'
Tongue-in-cheek, I responded again, 'They're freezing, too.
Heat rises, and they are so close to the ground. Imagine how
cold they are down there!'
Well, she just about spit her beverage out all over the place
laughing! Of course, she knew I was joking...
Trouble is, every day, everywhere you go, there are people that
you are going to come in contact with who are negative,
negative, negative... and they AREN'T joking.
Every day, everywhere you go, there will be situations that, by
their very nature, will threaten to destroy your mood and keep
it destroyed... maybe for a few minutes, maybe for an hour, a
day or even a week or more.
Every Think Right Now audio program (and written script) is
filled with statements that we refer to as Releasing statements
and Clearing statements.
What they do is condition into you the automatic, unconscious,
unthinking habit, the literal ability to eliminate the impact
from the 'negative' people and situations so that you are not
influenced by them... like when the people around you are
constantly dumping their garbage all around you and on top of
you, so that it doesn't feel impossible to overcome it. When we
hear and join in the gripe sessions, thinking and talking about
everything that we don't like, we attract more of that in our
lives.
Notice that I didn't call our Behavior Modification programs
'Positive Thinking Now.'
Most people define positive thinking as simply not thinking 'I
can't' and instead thinking, 'I can.'
First off, that's not positive thinking. That's just
confidence. Confidence is important, but it's just one small
part of positive thinking.
Thinking Right is a whole different ball game.
Aside from the Accelerated Learning part of it, Think Right Now
technology works to elevate and strengthen the 22 core

secondary beliefs, thoughts, attitudes and emotions that drive

Look at it this way...
If your core beliefs, thought patterns, attitudes and emotional

painting that sidewalk with fresh paint would be silly. Just
walking on it for a few hours or maybe a few days would wear the
paint off, and soon you'd have the same old sidewalk again.
Our minds are the same way...
If you want to change your emotional patterns and ultimately
your automatic decisions and actions, you need to do more than
just talk to someone for an hour or two or three every week.
You need to tell yourself constantly the same kind of things as
the people who get the results you want for yourself. When you
do, you will feel how they feel, you will believe what they
believe; your attitudes will mirror theirs.
And when that happens, you will turn in the directions you need
to face and start moving in those directions.
One of the core Installing patterns found in every Think Right

appreciate the positive results that you get when you are moving
in the right direction.
That is key...
Because when you're moving in the right direction, when things
are truly going right, if you do not ENJOY the results or the
rewards, you will NOT continue to do what you need to do to keep
getting those results.
I told you, and I'll say it again and again and again. 22 core
success patterns. You could be 'running' 10 or 11 of these
positive patterns as it relates to some important area of your
life, and you are still not going to be getting the results you
REALLY want.
It's one of those principles of life... you can change a belief,
you can change your values, you can change an attitude.
But principles never change.
