Is it a pill or your mind that is helping
Hello my friend:
In a clinical trial of the antidepressant drug Effexor, one of
the participants, California interior designer Janice Schonfeld,
was given a placebo... that is, nothing more than a sugar pill.
She was stunned to find out after the study that she'd been
given a placebo, not the drug. After all, her 30 year
depression was completely lifted, she even experienced nausea, a
common direct effect of the drug.
Not only that, but throughout the study she'd been given
regular brain scans, and the tests showed that activity of her
