It always rains in the kitchen
Hello my friend:
Oh, man. It just arrived from Hammacher Schlemmer...
...A huge umbrella so big that a whole family could sail
across "the pond" on if it were turned upside down.
After I got it all unboxed, I...
You guessed it.
I opened it up... indoors.
And as soon as I did, my mind went immediately to the
superstition about never opening up umbrellas indoors...
And I thought about the one about breaking a mirror...
And about never walking under a ladder.
What are those things?
They are, in order, fears about:
1- Insulting the Sun - and also as a safety measure
2- Keeping the hired help from breaking mirrors
3- Staying safe from falling objects
All those fears and "superstitions" (false beliefs)
originate from one person or a group of people wanting to
get a specific result from others. So they tell other
people that something bad will happen if they do the thing
they don't want them to do.
It's perfect... instill fear of the Gods or of grave
injury and death and everyone falls in line.
So over a long period of time, they become entire belief
systems...
And when you believe a thing to be true, even just a
little bit, your nervous system, your thoughts, your
decisions and your actions go toward making it happen, in
many cases...
So, the thing that is feared to happen... you MAKE happen.
Huhhhhhh! It MUST have been the umbrella!
Oh, I just KNEW that black cat was trouble!
Just as sure as "pointing the bone" kills the person it is
pointed toward.
The mind is a powerful drug.
Did you know that when electronic sensors are placed all
over a person's body and then they are guided to "see"
themselves as taking very specific actions, there are
subtle, yet detectable muscle contractions in the areas of
the body that would need to move in order to do the thing
that was being visualized?
If you imagine it, your body complies.
In the course of our lives, we pick up literally tens of
thousands of little beliefs (superstitions) that guide us
like a train track guides a train into the station, just as
it did the day before and the day before and the day before.
Want to change your results?
Frustrated at not being able to?
Little beliefs are guiding you toward your results.
Pills, books, seminars and talk-therapy usually don't do a
thing to change your habitual actions.
Isn't that so?
Because just brief, infrequent exposures don't change
deeply held beliefs.
That takes conditioning.
But Think Right Now! Accelerated Success Conditioning
Programs do!

Stop running from black cats.
Get in control. Stop fearing the things you don't need to
fear.
Install the beliefs of those who are the BEST at what you
want to do.
Kick your life up a notch... or ten.
Love,
Mike
