The #1 reason why anxiety disorders are out of control
Hello my friend:
So I was at my desk last week, and as I was typing out an
email my instant message window came up.
It was "Alex." Alex is a neighbor. He asked me a question
regarding the new program we have coming out in a couple
weeks called "Tranquil Sleep Now."
I'm convinced "Tranquil Sleep Now" is going to help
thousands of people who struggle with sleep problems every
night. This program is unbelievable. Off the charts
effective...
...But I digress.
Alex is a techno-junkie. He loves email, instant
messaging, all that stuff. I like it too. But I see him
every couple days. Was there a reason why he couldn't come
over and ask me the question, up-close-and-personal?
This might not be Alex's problem... probably not, but I
see that hiding behind cyberspace is general is a trend
these days. We play video games, surf the web and
communicate with each other through email and text
messages. We can do our banking, pay our bills, even fill
our gas tanks without ever talking to a real, live, human
being.
Convenient, yes. Time-saving, absolutely. But there's
also a HUGE downside...
Because we no longer spending time one-on-one with people
whether its having fun, pursuing relationships, or working
toward a common goal.
As a result, we're actually running out of opportunities
to practice being social...
And because of this, scientists now tell us, anxiety and
panic disorders are roaring out of control (there's got to
be a reason why we see so many ads for anxiety drugs)...
In fact, The Institute of Social Research at the
University of Michigan shows that a lack of social
relationships actually doubles a person's chances of
sickness and even death. Plus we're raising a generation of
kids that don't know how to rely on each other not just for
survival - but for support.
Now don't get me wrong - email and the internet has helped
us become better at our jobs and get a lot more done in a
lot less time. But it can also be a dangerous thing if
you're a person who suffers from even a little bit of
social anxiety.
When we studied the habits and attitudes of people who
struggled with apprehension and fear in social and career
situations, we discovered that, over time, they became less
and less outgoing, more isolated, and relied on pets and
the Internet for companionship.
People with social anxiety also tend to work at jobs where
they don't have to mingle with people.
They're likely to go from flipping hamburgers to working
in a stockroom.
From seeing patients to hunkering behind a microscope.
From working with adults to playing with children.
We also found that they suffered from fatigue, insomnia,
headaches, constipation, diarrhea, gas, and neck and muscle
pain at a much higher rate.
That's why so many people with social anxiety frequently
feel stuck in a no-win situation. They know those thoughts
running through their mind ("I can't meet people. I can't
speak up. I'm such a loser.") are simply NOT TRUE. They
know their fears are greatly exaggerated, yet the thoughts
still continue to flood their brain, regardless. The
false, unsupportive beliefs stay.
Soon the whole gang of physical and emotional symptoms
crash the party in a hurry... yet they seem completely
powerless to do anything to stop them.
Does this describe you? Or someone you know?
If you've been reading my newsletter for a while, you know
that conditioned mental patterns are the foundation of all
our habits and personality traits. Even though we all
instinctively crave health and happiness, sometimes our
mind acts as a "saboteur", derailing us and making us live
life on the sidelines.
But here's the key...
No one is born with these damaging thought patterns.
Something put them there.
So wouldn't it be great if you could erase these negative
mental habit patterns and never look back?
Or better yet, replace them with positive thoughts,
feelings, and patterns that are held by the most outgoing
and socially comfortable people in the world?
Accelerated Success Conditioning can literally retrain
your mind to process social stimuli in ways that let your
best self emerge, confidently and comfortably, in any
setting. With repetition and a little time, you re-
condition your brain and its automatic thought processes to
go from afraid and doubtful to feelings of power and
confidence.
And believe it or not, your brain happily cooperates.
Accelerated learning - along with timed repetition of
statements and 60-beat-per-minute music-helps transform
your behavior from the inside out. You literally become
just like the people you admire the most for their ability
to "think on their feet" and express themselves in any
situation, with clarity and confidence.
When empowering emotions control your actions, you'll be
many times more likely to feel how you want to feel... say
what you want to say... and get what you want to get.
Possibly for the first time in your life.
If you feel anxious in social situations, it's time to
stop hiding. It's a fantastic world out there. It will be
for you, too - once you have the right tools.
You'll be pleasantly surprised at how quickly you can make
it happen.
Love,
Mike Brescia
