You get only what your self-image says you get
Hello my friend,
All the research has been completed and we're in the
process now of writing the script for our upcoming TRN
program, Eliminating Fear Of Failure [End of July-early
August release date]
And so, as I always do before we begin writing, I read
through some of our other program scripts in order to get
an immediate intimate connection with hundreds of the most
empowering, success-producing beliefs, attitudes and
actions that any person could possibly have...
This always makes the writing very powerful.
For anyone who owns any Think Right Now programs, you know
what I mean. They are flat-out unstoppable beliefs and
attitudes. There is nothing like them and nothing as
complete anywhere at any price.
So, as I was skimming through the script for the program,
Anger Management Now!
- http://www.thinkrightnow.com/a/anger-management.asp and
Supreme Confidence Now
- http://www.thinkrightnow.com/a/confidence.asp
filling myself up with attitude and a can-do mindset, what
leaped off the paper was how all permanent change is guided
by a change in self image.
Temporary habit and emotional changes can be made without
changing the core self image, yes. But it cannot last.
Because you can't take any set of actions that are opposed
with how you see yourself for long before you'd go mad, and
had a breakdown or started abusing drugs or alcohol.
And that is why, when creating a new behavior modification
program, we always strive to have it be filled with "I
am..." statements because they are the only type of self-
command that grabs the most immovable of belief systems,
the self image.
For example, when someone is not confident, when they
doubt themselves, when they are uncertain, when there is
little or no faith that they can accomplish a specific set
of common tasks, it is first because the self image they
hold is one of a person who isn't able to learn easily or
quickly and adapt to their surroundings.
Lack of confidence overall indicates that the person is
focused on failing... and is uncomfortable.
I AM SOMEONE WHO _____: ("I AM" is the start of all 'self-
image' beliefs)
I AM SOMEONE WHO:
- fails what I try
- can't express my ideas well
- can't learn quickly
- doesn't remember names
- doesn't like asking people to buy my products
- doesn't keep a clean house/is messy
- is fat
- hates exercise/hates being out of breath/hates sweating
With those self-images, confidence doesn't stand a chance.
So when you want to change an action habit...
When you want to eliminate depression...
When you want to get off drugs...
When you want to feel more adventurous...
When you want to finish all the things you start...
When you want to have more influence at your job...
When you want to be healthier...
When you want to multiply your income...
When you want to be rational and stop being an angry cuss...
Then your self image (your identity with yourself) must
transform from what it is now into what you want it to be.
No small task. It's huge.
It's such a huge, all encompassing undertaking that it
can't be accomplished by talk therapy, reading a book,
attending a retreat or seminar or by listening to a lecture
CD.
That is impossible.
Self image can only be changed by holding the image you
want in your mind continually and by affirming that it is
you already.
There is simply no other effective way to change it.
That is why the self-help books you've got lining your
shelves didn't make that big a difference. This is why so-
called anti-depressants don't do much for the majority of
people popping them...
Because self image doesn't change with those methods.
Think about an area of life that gives you fits... one
that, no matter what you do, it just doesn't work out.
Now think of how you define yourself in this area.
I assure you it's not one of a massive success.
Right?
If you haven't, read this page:
and see how it resonates with you. Then at the bottom, go
to the catalog page and scroll through and pick some topics
that are weaknesses for you. Read those pages. I believe
you'll find that those pages speak directly to this topic
of self image.
You will have some major "Ah-ha" moments.
If you already own some TRN programs, read through the
scripts of those programs, listen to them and keep your
eyes and ears pealed for those "I am" statements.
And when you see or hear one, ask yourself, "Is that what
I believe right now... do I generally believe that is true
about me?"
If not, you know what to do.
To get what you want in this part of your life, your self
images is leading your emotions and actions. So to change
it and to start getting your way and achieving what you
want, grab your manual and do what it says.
Here's the link to download the manual, in case you
misplaced it:

And if you still haven't gotten on the Think Right Now!
bandwagon, it's time to see what rapid change in emotions
and actions is all about. Because it'll rock your world
when you follow the proven method I outline in the manual.
Love,
Mike Brescia
PS: Just a couple days from the release of "Tranquil
Sleep Now." I would recommend along with that program --
since stress is a primary cause of sleeplessness -- to
consider adding to it, Dissolving Panic & Anxiety, Freedom
From Depression, Infinite Joy, and Laser-Focused
Concentration. You can get information about those at:
