Thank you for this
Hello my friend:
As someone who often sees people looking for guidance at
their lowest points, unable to see a clear path out from
their latest tragedy or out of a lifetime of suffering, I
know it can sound preposterous for many people to even
conceive of being "thankful" for their existence that may
be comprised of one day of physical and/or emotional pain
after another.
So while I am personally thankful that you and the
140,000+ people how have chosen to subscribe to our
newsletter, I know what I am thankful for is of little
importance to anyone else.
I am reminded daily of the fact that one person's painful
hangnail can be infinitely more important to them than
1,574 people (or even 15,000) who die in an earthquake
11,000 miles away on the other side of the earth.
So I thank you for the trust you place in me and in our
team at Think Right Now International, whose mission it is
to help people navigate through life more successfully,
more happily and with more dignity.
I am thankful for that EVERY day of the year.
So my message today, really, is a reminder not to be
thankful for the things that can be taken away... it seems
best to be thankful for the things that you have inside or
can develop... perseverance, confidence, your ability to
find solutions, opportunities that you can create, your
ability to love...
Those things and more can be created, nurtured and made
stronger. They can help you attain what you want most.
Cars? Homes? Clothes? Money? They are great. But they
can be taken away in a flash as many people know too well.
What we all really need is not those things, per se, but
the ability to "manifest" or create them whenever we want.
That comes from inside us.
So I personally am most thankful for what I have learned
throughout my life. Because with that knowledge, I can
help other people in countless ways. And because of that,
I can continue to create many opportunities for myself and
others.
Because as my co-author in the book, '101 Great Ways To
Improve Your Life,' Zig Ziglar says so eloquently, "You can
get anything you want in life as long as you help enough
others get what they want."
So thanks to everyone who teaches me, which allows me to
pass on what I learn.
Keep in mind that for the next couple days, we are passing
